The FederalPresidents
From Adolphe GNANSOUNOU-AKPA, the merchant behind the Association’s creation in 1921, to Norbert KASSA, federal president since the 7th Congress of 2 and 3 October 2015: the terms of office, professions and biographies that the Association’s archives document.
One Profile per Documented President
The Association numbers its presidents without counting interim terms: it designates Norbert KASSA as its “7th Federal President”. The profiles therefore display no calculated number — the ordinal stays in the biography, exactly as the archives write it.

André HOUNZANGBE opened the Association to African countries, René MEGNIHO DOSSA to the Xwla and Xwéla brethren of Europe, and Norbert KASSA consolidated the existing sections just as he created new ones, in Benin as in the diaspora. Take your place in this lineage.
