NV.00MEMBER STATUSES, DUES AND AFFILIATING SECTIONS
JoinNonvitcha
What the Association’s published archives establish about member statuses and dues, the affiliating sections served by the directory, and the official texts that ground them. No membership fee is published to date.
The Association has published neither a fee schedule nor a membership form. What its communiqués and congress proceedings do name, however, are the statuses under which one belongs to Nonvitcha. Each status below is quoted word for word, with the article that carries it.
Members by right and active members
The two statuses that the 8th Congress names together, recalling that they commit equally toward the Federal Executive Bureau.
« all members by right and all active members of the Nonvitcha association »
« membres de droit »: 6 files, 6 occurrences · « membres actifs »: 6 files, 6 occurrences
Third parties and sympathizers
The President’s Message reserves part of the association’s showcase for those who support it without being members, without making it a priced category.
« a showcase reserved for the third parties and sympathizers of our crucible »
« he reminded all members by right and all active members of the Nonvitcha association that they have the obligation to continue to assist the new bureau through the regular payment of dues and other donations and subsidies that the association will need »
Dues are therefore a statutory obligation, and they go hand in hand with donations and subsidies. Their amount, however, appears in no publication of the Association: neither the communiqués, nor the congress proceedings, nor the facsimiles of the Statutes carry it in a readable form.
Recorded across the 772 files of the backup: « cotisation » 6 files, « paiement regulier » 6, « dons et subventions » 6 — and 0 files for « 5 000 fcfa », « 50 000 fcfa », « cotisation annuelle », « droit d’entrée » and « frais d’adhésion ».
No membership dues plan published
The directory of membership plans currently carries no entry: no amount, no periodicity, no currency. They will appear here as soon as the Federal Executive Bureau has transmitted them. In the meantime, no sum is announced on this page.
The texts that set the rule
The Statutes and the Internal Regulations are the only documents that set member statuses and the dues regime. The archives preserve them as facsimiles: none of their pages carry a text layer — they are photographs of pages, which neither a search nor a screen reader can traverse. Reading them is therefore done document in hand.
The directory of official documents currently serves neither the Statutes nor the Internal Regulations.
NV.03LEGAL IDENTITY OF THE ASSOCIATION
What one joins
Each line below is quoted from the « Origines et historiques » post in the Association’s archives.
Founding
Grand-Popo, 1921
Legal regime
Law of 1 July 1901
Statutes approved by
Local decree No. 1291/APA of 6 September 1933 from the government of Dahomey
Founding fathers
Adolphe GNANSOUNOU-AKPA, Siméon ABALLO LOKO and Augustin AZANGO
First president
Adolphe GNANSOUNOU AKPA
Head office
BP 22 Grand-Popo, Bénin
The law of 1 July 1901 is the legal regime under which the statutes were filed, not the founding date: the Association was born in Grand-Popo in 1921. A post in the backup conflates the two dates, and this page does not follow it.
NV.04AFFILIATING SECTIONS
Choosing your section
Every membership attaches to a section. The directory serves 0 affiliating sections, served by the directory, divided into 0 sets: Bénin first, then the diasporas of Africa, Europe and the Americas. A section that does not appear in this list does not exist in the directory, and this page adds none.
No section served by the directory
The list of affiliating sections is empty on the directory side. It will appear here as soon as it carries any: this page writes no section of its own initiative.
This page carries only what the published archives and the directory establish. What follows is missing, and nothing has been written to replace it.
No membership or dues amountThe plans directory serves 0 entries, and the backup of the former site carries no fee: 0 files out of 772 for « 5 000 fcfa », « 50 000 fcfa » and « membre bienfaiteur ».
No written membership procedureNeither documents to provide, nor deadline, nor conditions for loss of member status: « qualité de membre », « radiation » and « démission » count 0 files out of 772, the Statutes being preserved only as page images.
No membership card in serviceThe card directory is empty: no number, no holder, no date of issue. The verification page can therefore certify no code to date.
No president, contact or membership figure for sectionsOf the 17 entries served, 17 have no president’s name, 17 no address or telephone, 17 with a membership figure of 0, and 9 without a city.
The Statutes are not readable onlineThe 44 pages of the Statutes and the Internal Regulations are preserved as photographs of pages: 0 fonts and 0 text blocks in both PDFs. Neither a search nor a screen reader traverses them.
The Federal Executive Bureau can transmit these elements: they will then appear here, without any line of this page having had to be guessed. In the meantime, a membership is prepared by writing to the headquarters.
