At each edition of the Nonvitcha festival, a fabric is chosen and worn by the Xwla and Xwela sons and daughters. This page brings together what the Association has actually published about it: the editions entered into the registry, the prices announced by the Federal Executive Bureau, the points of sale it has communicated, and its warnings against counterfeit fabric.
An edition appears here only once the Association has entered it into the registry, with its pattern and its year.
The fabric registry holds no record to date: no pattern, no year, no image. Nothing is written here in the meantime. What the Association has published about its fabric is, however, restored further down, article by article.
Two 2021 communiqués set a price. They are the only ones the Association has published: no price is announced for the current edition, and none is carried over here by inference.
Sale opened on Friday 12 March 2021. The pattern bears the lit flame of Nonvitcha, the Association’s logo showing the effigies of the founding presidents, and the two Nonvitcha recades.
Still available at the Federal Executive Bureau’s depot as of this communiqué, which reaffirms the Centenaire prices and condemns any resale above the set price.
These numbers are those of the communiqué « Procurez-vous le vrai tissu NONVITCHA », published by the Association on . They are reproduced exactly as it writes them, in its order; no point of sale is added to its list.
For the Centenaire fabric, the Federal Executive Bureau announced wholesale sales at the Association’s headquarters in Menontin, and retail sales through three honorary presidents and the Association’s eight sections. The names of those three people appear in the 2021 communiqué; they are not republished here, five years later, as if they were still points of sale.

This is the watchword of the campaign the Association ran in 2025. The communiqué of 28 April 2021 had already condemned resale above the set price. No distinguishing mark of the genuine fabric — selvage, stamp, composition — is described here: the Association has published none, and inventing one would expose the buyer rather than protect them.
